Well summer seems to have finally arrived here in the UK and it’s time to start working in the garden a bit more, ya gotta luv WiFi!
I seem to be spending way to much time on YouTube again, although I have an excuse, ah, I mean a ligitimate reason, I’ve been knocking off a few videos of my own to upload on some useful web stuff, like changing nameservers, setting up email account in cPanel hosting and outlook.

Sometimes I end up on YouTube, I’m never sure just how I got there, and it always seems to take longer than it should for me to get away again..
probably because of videos like this: -
Cat attacked by Vicious Tortoise
You’ll have to follow the link to YouTube I’m afraid, as my blog theme doesn’t like me embedding videos for some reason, so be careful how long you spend there, but this video is worth taking 2 mins for..

I was doing a bit of surfing today, catching up with some of my favorite blogs, and I came across a recommendation for a book that sounds quite interesting.
It’s called the Four Hour Week.
It’s written by a guy called Tim Ferris who seems like a one man dynamo…

Hmm, guess I’m going to have to make an apology, it’s been sometime since I posted anything here, sorry!
it’s been a busy month as I’ve been launching a little ebook of my own, but that’s a diffeent story..
Anyway, today I’m back on the topic of keeping your pc secure, simply becuase I managed to dig out the link for an excellent (and totally free) bit of software.
It’s called Spybot Search and Destroy and it’s what a lot of the web-tehcheads use for their own systems, you can grab it here: -

It makes an excellent addition to my fav AntiVirus (Kaspersky).

I don’t read very little fiction anymore, having read more than enough when I was younger, now I prefer to spend my reading time expanding my mind a little bit, or at least trying to..
So here are the books that I’ve enjoyed the most in the last few years..
~##~
The Game by Neil Strauss
Neil goes undercover in the world of PUA’s (pick up artisits) and ends up becoming a world calss “PUA” himself.
This is another one of my all time favourite books, I read it cover to cover when I got it, I really couldn’t put it down.
Absolutley Wicked!

The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists

As I earn a living from the internet, keeping my pc’s safe from atacks is a pretty high priority for me, and has been for many years. In fact I run a couple of websites dedicated to the subject.
For years I’ve used ZoneAlarm (www.zone-alarm.co.uk) firewall software which has never let me down, but I also have another level of security that is above and beyond the normal anti virus and firewall software most people use.
It’s called Process Guard (www.processguard.com) and it works by warning you if any program tries to make changes to your system without your permission.
whilst on the subject, my favorite anti virus system is Kapersky (www.kaspersky.co.uk).
